Now, a website that lets you look for love on your daily commute!
London, May 2 : Commuters travelling on similar underground or subway routes in London, New York and Paris can now find love as they travel, thanks to a social networking site Submate.
The site allows commuters travelling on similar underground routes to know each other.
The idea is the brainchild of founder Laurent Kretz.
Once users have uploaded their profile on to the site, they can view the profiles of other commuters on similar routes as well as email them.
According to the New York Post, Kretz hit upon the idea after regularly travelling on the subway in New York with the same 'familiar strangers' without ever getting to know them.
"Every day, before and after your commute, you're surrounded by people," the Telegraph quoted Kretx, as saying.
He added: "Among them, there might be a bass player for your band, or a cute girl you could date.
"In the morning I don't even want to speak to people, but when I leave work I wasn't to meet people in my area."
The site has been launched in the three cites, but Paris-based Kretx has plans to expand it to another 65 cities by the end of 2010.
