The ancient Romans would have been horrified by this modern version of a public square. But there is much to see and do at the forum shops and it is free. Stroll through the massive mall, and see the talking statues, eat at any of the great restaurants or buy some souvenirs. The cheap stuff are: The Cheesecake Factory - large portions and quality food;Spago- more value for your money;Bertollini’s – big portions of pasta and pizza or just grab an espresso and watch the humanity stroll by. The Fremont light show takes place along several blocks on Fremont Street. A sound and thick white steel mesh screen covers the block and lights are projected on to this screen. This screen is in fact the world’s largest electric sign. Live bands play music along sections where crowds gather to watch. The electronic canopy of light and its mind-boggling light and sound show is an amazing experience.

You can watch the masquerade show at the Rio. It is on every night, it is free and entertaining. Sit at the bar near the village seafood buffet and enjoy the show.
The Conservatory and Botanical Gardens at Bellagio
The Conservatory and Botanical Gardens offer a lovely respite from the frenzy of gambling and other action in Vegas and are a great free-of-charge getaway in the Bellagio hotel.
The Grand Canal shops at Venetia Hotel Las Vegas
