In good aspect this refines and purifies, but at the same time strengthens, the feelings and all the social and emotional side of the nature. It favours courtesy, honour, candour, sincerity, gentlemanly feeling benevolence, sympathy.

In good aspect, increases the imagination, makes the emotional side of the nature active and fertile. The native lives largely in the emotions and feelings, is swayed by passing moods and impulses, lives in them, learns from them, and expresses himself through them. Fortunate for acting, music, art, etc., and for most psychic studies and occupations, mediumship, crystal gazing, etc.

In good aspect a versatile mind, changeable, embracing many subjects and not lingering long over one; ingenious, inventive, intuitive, fertile in resource. Gives aptitude for psychic studies, ability to get ideas from astral sources; crystal-gazing, psychometry, automatic writing, trance or inspirational speaking.

In good aspect, the native is easily moved to admiration of the opposite sex, and is emotional and romantic in love affairs, and easily caught by beauty. There may be more than one love affair or marriage. It is good for partnership and general prosperity, and contributes towards benefit and pleasure through friends, associates, popularity.

In good aspect this must tend to bring good fortune through whatever occupations may be signified by the planet; but, unfortunately, very little is known of these. It probably influences pursuits connected with the water, travelling, speculating; also activities that give amusement and pleasure, theatres, concerts; and is beneficial for events of the fifth house generally, and perhaps for legacies.

This influence is not easy to determine, as the two planets do not seem to have a great deal in common; in fact they appear in some respects almost polar opposites, the one typically negative and the other extremely positive.

In good aspect the influence is not unlike that of Uranus just mentioned, especially if Uranus is the more elevated of the two. It is good generally for occupation, worldly standing, preserves the goodwill of acquaintances and the public, and wards off enemies. It increases concentration, intuition, depth and clearness of thought.

This influence is very difficult to elucidate; for apart from their obvious influence upon matters signified by mundane house and zodiacal sign, there does not seem to be much effect other than that upon mystical and occult affairs and out-of-the-way subjects and occupations.

Saturn in the ninth house denotes a studious and meditative mental attitude towards all higher thought pursuits. It favours the scientific and philosophical more than the religious mind and often causes the native to investigate astrology, metaphysics, and psychic studies generally. In the unawakened it denotes some stupidity with regard to higher thought questions and tends to produce self- deception, and a very crafty and subtle mentality. If afflicted by Mars or Uranus it tends to produce madness, or grave mental affliction.

Saturn in the seventh house shows a faithful partner or marriage to a person older than the native. Saturn is exalted in Libra, and as this sign is equivalent to the seventh house Saturn in the seventh denotes faithfulness and sincerity on the part of the marriage partner. It does not give affection of the demonstrative and emotional order, but it makes love a duty and gives stability to the affections, which become permanent and enduring. If Saturn is much afflicted in this house then sorrow and grief may be expected in the married life.
